2 Billion Dirhams Allocated to Develop Latifa Bint Hamdan Corridor in Dubai

The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai has announced the commencement of the Lu'laifa Bint Hamdan Corridor Development Project, spanning 12 kilometers with a cost of 2 billion dirhams. The project aims to enhance the emirate's road network by constructing 8 tunnels totaling 900 meters and 7 bridges stretching 2,300 meters. It will also include 12.5 kilometers of bike lanes and the expansion of the street to four lanes in each direction. The project is expected to serve more than 650,000 residents and reduce the travel time between Umm Suqeim Street and Emirates Street from 33 minutes to 15 minutes, with completion scheduled for the end of 2028.
