Kuwait boosts July oil output to 2M bpd

Kuwait increased its oil production to approximately two million barrels per day by July 2026, compared to 1.65 million barrels in June. This comes after a recovery in oil exports and improved navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. This is part of Kuwait’s commitment to the OPEC+ policies, which aim to raise production quotas by around 188,000 barrels per day starting from September 2026, in order to restore market balance and stabilize global oil supplies.
