Adnoc announced the implementation of the "Real-Time Operations Monitoring Center" (RTOC) system, powered by artificial intelligence, across more than 120 drilling rigs. The goal is to enhance the monitoring and analysis of drilling operations at both onshore and offshore sites. The system helps reduce engineering effort by 30-40%, supports a larger number of rigs efficiently, and transforms vast amounts of data into clear information that facilitates rapid decision-making. Operational reports can now be generated within hours instead of days. Additionally, the system enables early detection of issues and reduces incident response times by approximately 4 to 12 hours, thereby decreasing operational downtimes from a day to one or two days. Adnoc's CEO emphasized that the system adds significant value by integrating AI into drilling operations, helping teams make faster, smarter decisions. The company aims to become the energy industry’s leading adopter of AI solutions.
