The Sultanate of Oman has achieved a 86.7% completion rate of its National E-Commerce Strategy by the end of 2025, having completed 26 out of 30 initiatives outlined in the plan. Efforts have been focused on developing the regulatory environment, raising digital awareness through awareness campaigns and school programs, as well as reviewing electronic payment system fees and facilitating the use of digital payment methods. Additionally, the Ministry launched programs to prepare national competencies, issued licenses for over 19,260 e-commerce activities, and certified more than 412 stores on the "Ma’arouf Oman" platform, supporting digital growth and enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy.
