Saudi Cabinet Approves Roads Authority Rule

The Saudi Cabinet, headed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, approved the organization of the Public Authority for Roads, with the aim of improving and developing the road sector in the Kingdom. The cabinet also decided to abolish the Authority for the Development and Urbanization of Mountain Regions in Jazan, transferring its responsibilities to the Jazan Region Development Office and the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture. Additionally, the Saudi Center for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions was permitted to provide accreditation services for healthcare facilities outside of Saudi Arabia, in accordance with regulations approved by the Saudi Health Council. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques affirmed that the Makkah Summit on Collective Defense focused on strengthening relations between Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan, and on cooperation in facing regional challenges and maintaining international security and stability, to achieve a more prosperous and thriving future for the region and the world.
