Reports expect the hospitality sector in Dubai to experience a significant revival starting from the fourth quarter of 2026, driven by improved air travel and a return of international tourism demand, especially during the winter season, which is considered a peak period. Forecasts indicate that the average hotel occupancy rate for the year will range between 60.4% and 66.2%, with room rates rising to between 600 and 675 dirhams. This positive outlook is supported by the expansion of the airline network and increasing international flights, as well as government financial support amounting to up to 2.5 billion dirhams. Additionally, there has only been a 7% decline in prices during the first half of the year. With approximately 152,139 hotel rooms in Dubai’s establishments and an anticipated addition of around 3,150 new rooms, Dubai aims to strengthen its position as a global tourist destination during the winter season with more international visitors returning.
