The Sharjah City Free Zone for Publishing is working to promote the growth of companies specialized in artificial intelligence and smart solutions. Currently, there are over 1,000 companies operating across research, innovation, model training, solution development, and system management, including robotics. The area focuses on providing a flexible and supportive environment for the establishment and expansion of these companies, offering fast and efficient services, including immediate licensing issuance using AI-based technologies within minutes. Companies operate through multiple stages of development and operation, with more than 691 companies in research and innovation, 125 in model training, 110 in solution development, and 26 in system management and robotics. The zone offers over 40 services, with legal and licensing procedures starting from 5,750 AED. It also allows combining multiple activities under a single license and provides rapid processing services. This reflects the zone’s commitment to empowering the artificial intelligence sector and supporting its growth both within the UAE and beyond—especially with the launch of AI-backed business licenses that enable licensing in less than five minutes.
