Hussain Bin Maktoum opens Dubai Pharma Expo

Dubai has launched the activities of the 31st edition of the Dubai International Pharmaceuticals and Technology Conference and Exhibition "DUPHAT 2026," which is considered the largest global gathering of pharmaceutical companies in the Middle East and Africa. The event is attended by over 25,000 visitors from 85 countries and will continue until August 27. The event features 104 scientific sessions and 12 workshops, showcases more than 1,100 brands, and includes specialized exhibitions in dietary supplements and pharmaceutical technology. The exhibition aims to enhance collaboration within the pharmaceutical sector, showcase the latest innovations and technologies, and support scientific development and regulatory initiatives. It is expected that the pharmaceutical market in the UAE will grow at an annual rate of 6.1% until 2033, with biopharmaceuticals continuing to achieve the fastest growth rates.
