Six Dead in Soriyabeet Traffic Incident

Six people, including five women, were killed and 12 others injured when a electric bus carrying 42 passengers collided with a truck carrying heavy poles on the Siryapet road in Telangana, eastern India, this Wednesday morning. The accident occurred following a chain of pole securing failures, causing the poles to crash into the bus as it was heading from Hyderabad to Eloor in Andhra Pradesh. Those seated in the front seats were the most affected. The condition of two of the injured remains critical, and they are being treated at a hospital in Vijayawada.
