Dubai has launched the "Click and Travel" service, allowing passport officers to complete travelers' entry and exit procedures within 12 to 15 seconds using fingerprint technology, facial recognition, and electronic passport reading. The initiative aims to accelerate procedures and enhance efficiency during peak times. During the pilot phase from May to August, a total of 31,373 travelers were processed. Its use has been expanded to include all categories of travelers starting from September 7, 2026, as part of the ongoing efforts to promote digital transformation in the airport travel experience.
