Environment reaches third level in AI index

The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture of Saudi Arabia achieved a Level Three ranking in the National Artificial Intelligence Index (NAII), which is among the highest levels among government entities. This reflects its progress in adopting and leveraging AI technologies to enhance its services and improve efficiency. This achievement is part of the ministry’s efforts to improve its operational framework and support digital transformation in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. The ministry was also honored by the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) during the 2026 Global Forum on AI Ethics, an event aimed at promoting the ethical principles of AI and supporting development policies in this field.
