Saudi Arabia has made significant progress in the global competitiveness indicators for 2026, ranking third in supporting legislation for business formation, fourth in economic opportunity equality, and seventh in the efficiency of large companies according to international standards. The kingdom has reached the 13th position worldwide among 70 countries and secured the third spot among G20 nations after the United States and China. This development results from a partnership between the public and private sectors, as well as the review and revision of 110 legislations, including company laws, commercial registry, trade names, franchising, e-commerce, commercial courts, and others.
