Saudi Arabia leads global date exports again
Saudi Arabia has maintained its position as the leading exporter of dates worldwide in terms of value for the fourth consecutive year, with export revenues reaching approximately $517 million in 2025. The country’s dates are exported to more than 125 countries. Saudi Arabia’s annual date production exceeds 1.9 million tons and includes over 37 million palm trees. Both government and private sector efforts are underway to develop supply chains and improve efficiency, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 goals to increase the sector’s contribution to the GDP and boost non-oil exports.
