Adnoc Logistics and Services has signed a contract to build three giant gas carriers, each with a capacity of 90,000 cubic meters, at a total investment of $324 million. The delivery is expected in the second half of 2029. This deal is part of the company's plan to expand its fleet of liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers, which also includes the construction of four new carriers with a capacity of 175,000 cubic meters at a value of $900 million. Additionally, there are other expansions involving the construction of eight more carriers through Samsung and Hànwá Ocean, with an investment of 9.2 billion dirhams. All these vessels are tied to long-term lease agreements to boost revenue and meet the growing global demand for natural gas.
