Saudi uses AI and 3D printing to cut healthcare costs

Saudi innovations in the field of disability and rehabilitation have demonstrated how artificial intelligence and 3D printing can be employed to develop local products that reduce the costs of assistive devices and medical diagnostics. Additionally, a system using AI to analyze chromosome images was developed to accelerate diagnosis. The Saudi Research Center is considering expanding the use of this technology by launching a non-profit company to market products and develop commercial solutions, emphasizing that the goal is to reduce costs and improve the quality of life for people with disabilities.
