Zatka Requests VAT Declarations for September and Q3

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has invited entities whose annual supplies of goods and services exceed 40 million Riyals to file their Value Added Tax (VAT) returns for the month of September. Meanwhile, entities with supplies below 40 million Riyals have been asked to submit their third-quarter 2026 returns by October 31, 2026. The Authority emphasized the importance of swiftly submitting the returns and settling the taxes through its Para app to avoid penalties for late payment, which can range from 5% to 25% of the amount due. VAT is considered one of the indirect tax systems in effect in Saudi Arabia, imposed on goods and services with some exceptions.
