The Chairman of the General Authority of Transport in Saudi Arabia, Fawaz Al-Suhaili, spoke about the efforts of the maritime and logistical sectors to strengthen the national economy. He pointed out that more than 500,000 trucks connect ports with factories and warehouses within Saudi Arabia and the Gulf countries. He also emphasized that the system is capable of supporting the smooth flow of trade and maintaining trust in dealing with changes, highlighting the launch of over 33 new maritime services since the start of current challenges. Additionally, the number of Saudi sailors increased by 24% in 2025 compared to the previous year. This is all part of the Kingdom’s broader efforts to achieve its Vision 2030 goals of becoming a global logistics hub.
