Gulf-Turkish efforts to bolster ties

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, discussed with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan ways to strengthen Gulf-Turkish relations and develop cooperation between the two sides, especially in light of regional circumstances and current tensions. The meeting addressed their interest in convening the seventh joint ministerial meeting of the strategic dialogue to deepen partnership, in addition to efforts to contain tensions and promote regional security and stability. The two sides also reviewed existing cooperation pathways and prospects for enhancing them across various fields to serve mutual interests.
