Since 2013, Al Jalila Foundation has launched the "Ta'aluf" program to support parents and teachers, facilitating their understanding of the needs of individuals with special needs. This has helped in developing their capabilities and enhancing their participation in the community, benefiting approximately 9,854 people to date. Recently, the Foundation organized a training workshop in collaboration with Seeg Clinics entitled "Understanding and Supporting Neurodiversity." During this workshop, support was provided to families—especially in dealing with conditions such as autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder—aiming to equip them with the knowledge and skills to effectively support their children and meet the demands of each stage of their development. One mother expressed her gratitude to the Foundation, emphasizing that the program helped her gain a deeper understanding of her son's needs and empowered her to support him in a manner that aligns with his abilities and life requirements, especially now that he has entered university. She noted that she is now more aware of the importance of balancing support and independence.
