Cambridge investigates suspended academic

Cambridge University is investigating the conduct of James Orr, an associate professor and Reform UK aide, after he was filmed appearing to attempt to bypass UK electoral laws on foreign political donations. Orr, who is also the party’s former head of policy, is under scrutiny following footage of him discussing arranging polling payments through a US company to hide its foreign origin. Both Orr and senior Reform UK aide Dan Jukes have stepped aside pending an internal investigation.
