Integrity: Arrests for illegal property seizures in Al-Anbar

The Federal Integrity Commission in Al-Anbar Governorate successfully thwarted an attempt to seize a 40-dunum plot of government land by forging and registering the property under the name of a housing cooperative association. This led to the issuance of arrest and transfer orders against 34 suspects. The operation involved reviewing and verifying property records, revealing the forging of ownership certificates and the registration of properties under individuals who did not own them, with an estimated value of approximately 1.83 billion dinars. Arrest warrants were executed, and the suspects were detained, with a notice of attachment placed on the properties to prevent any disposal of them, in accordance with the Integrity Law.
