Judiciary recovers gold and seizes $20M in Jimili case

The Central Anti-Corruption Court announced the seizure of 20 million dollars, 340,000 US dollars, and 200 million Iraqi dinars, in addition to the recovery of 60 kilograms of gold in connection with a case involving the Deputy Minister of Oil for Refining Affairs, Adnan Al-Jumaili, and those involved with him. The operation was conducted in coordination with the Kurdistan Region and resulted in the confiscation of seven cars and gold jewelry. Currently, investigations are underway with the accused to complete the legal procedures against them. This comes as part of efforts to pursue those responsible for project misappropriations and financial embezzlement.
