Al-Ratba completes 400 kV line for Jordan link

The Ministry of Electricity has announced that the next phase of the electricity interconnection project between Iraq and Jordan includes completing the connection of the 400-kilovolt line towers from the mobile 400/132 kV substation in Rutba district to the 25th intersection. This will enable the re-operation of the interconnection line with a capacity of up to 500 megawatts. This progress aims to strengthen the stability of the electricity system in Al-Anbar Governorate and Iraq as a whole.
