Baghdad-Karbala Road Rehab Ends this Year

The Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Public Municipalities announced that the Baghdad-Karbala Al-Muqaddasah Road Rehabilitation Project, one of the strategic projects related to the mass pilgrimage visits, will be fully completed by the end of this year. The engineering team continues working to complete the project's phases, which has currently achieved a 68% completion rate, surpassing the planned 46%. The project includes expanding the road to 20 meters for each lane, rehabilitating the old road, and constructing two bridges with a total length of 1,246 meters, aiming to facilitate the movement of visitors and reduce traffic congestion during the mass pilgrimage seasons.
