Regulations for Baghdad Excellence & AI Colleges

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the launch of the electronic application process for the College of Excellence and the College of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Baghdad for the 2026–2027 academic year. To qualify for admission, students must be graduates of the 2025–2026 preparatory school with a minimum GPA of 85%, and must pass the English language test and a personal interview. Application opportunities are distributed between the two colleges according to the student's specialization. Applicants from the scientific branch can apply to all departments of the College of Excellence and certain departments within the Literary Branch, while the College of Artificial Intelligence is limited to specific technical majors within the scientific branch. First-round students are eligible to apply via the "Qaddam" platform until September 27, with the possibility of filling remaining vacant seats with students from the first and second rounds if the admission plan is not fully met.
