Youngest planet captured in photo

This young planet is about 54.9 astronomical units from its star and resides within a gap in a dust and gas disk approximately 30 astronomical units wide, making it the smallest planet ever discovered compared to the 5.4-million-year-old planet "PDS 70 b/c." This discovery marks a significant advancement in understanding the formation of planets in their early stages.
