Iraq includes two Gulf events

Iraq has officially forfeited its right to host the Gulf Football Championship, Gulf 28 in 2028, and the Gulf Championship for Olympic teams in 2027, following the unanimous approval of the Executive Office of the Gulf Cup Federation.
