Barcelona may face Champions League disqualification

The article discusses the risks of suspending FC Barcelona's participation in the UEFA Champions League due to the case linked to José María Enríquez Negreira. It is expected that the European Football Union (UEFA) may impose a provisional punishment on the club without awaiting a final judicial ruling. It was also mentioned that UEFA is currently receiving documents from Real Madrid as part of investigations related to match-fixing allegations, and there is a possibility of suspending Barcelona if proven to be involved in activities aimed at manipulating match outcomes, in accordance with regulations that allow such actions even without a final local court ruling. Barcelona is still participating in this season's Champions League, with an upcoming match on October 13, but the possibility of provisional suspension remains if the club is found to have engaged in violations related to sports integrity.
