Ministry of Justice Seizes 200 Assets in September

In September, the Ministry of Justice recorded 200 seizures of movable and immovable assets belonging to government institutions. This aims to strengthen legal cooperation, expand the transfer of convicted persons, and enhance judicial coordination with countries such as the United Kingdom, Turkey, Iran, and Tajikistan. This effort is part of the Ministry's broader initiatives to recover Iraq's funds and pursue wanted individuals, in collaboration with the Integrity Commission and the High Judicial Council, as well as to develop the judicial system on an international level. Additionally, a number of foreign inmates were repatriated to their home countries under international agreements, as part of efforts to bolster judicial and humanitarian cooperation.
