Integrity saves 24 billion dinars in Babel

The Federal Integrity Commission announced the prevention of the loss of approximately 24 billion Iraqi Dinars from public funds at the Babel Registration Department, following investigations that revealed the Babel Rail Department appraised and sold 57 properties at undervalued prices, resulting in damage of about 23.99 billion Dinars. The measures included suspending the property registration procedures, initiating legal follow-up to identify those responsible, and pursuing the former legal official involved in selling lands at low prices, with investigations targeting their referral to the judiciary.
