Iraq braces for storms in northern regions

Weather forecast in Iraq predicts the continuation of unstable atmospheric conditions on Thursday, marking the beginning of the rainy season. The weather will be partly to mostly cloudy intermittently, with chances of thunderstorms of varying intensity affecting the northern and central regions. These conditions are expected to extend into the evening and nighttime to areas west of Al-Najaf and Samawah. The forecasts indicate that the rains will be light to moderate, and caution is advised due to lightning strikes and downdraft winds that may stir dust. The forecasts urge citizens to take necessary precautions during storms and to avoid open areas.
