Meat Poultry Egg Prices to Drop Next Week

The article discussed the Iraqi Ministry of Commerce's announcement regarding a reduction in the prices of meat, poultry, and eggs during the upcoming week, due to the postponement of customs duties on imported goods. Officials clarified that canceling customs tariffs on the import of calves, meat cuts, poultry, and table eggs will lead to a noticeable decrease in the prices of these items. It is expected that the price of a tray of eggs will drop from 5,500 dinars to lower levels, and there will be significant declines in the prices of meats, poultry, and meat cuts. This measure aims to alleviate the financial burdens on consumers while ensuring that prices are maintained by marketing outlets.
