Dollar nears 169,000 dinars
The prices of the dollar in the Iraqi parallel market are approaching 169,000 dinars per 100 dollars, with its continued rise in Baghdad and Erbil. The selling rate has reached 168,500 dinars, while the buying rate is 167,500 dinars. This is due to the closure of the Baghdad and Erbil stock exchanges and the increased demand for the dollar, reflecting growing pressure on the local currency in the Iraqi market.
