Anbar Drainage Prepares for Rainfront

The Anbar Drainage Directorate is preparing for the rainy season by cleaning networks, maintaining pump stations, and readying equipment, aiming to prevent the flooding scenes that occurred in Al-Khalidiya city last season. The preparations include clearing and cleaning the sewage networks, servicing the stations, and providing necessary supplies such as oil, fuel, and tires to ensure the full operation of the equipment. Despite these preparations, residents are calling for on-the-ground monitoring of the implementation and the adoption of thorough, sustainable solutions to address bottlenecks and improve infrastructure to prevent future floodings, especially in areas that suffered from homes and streets being submerged during the previous season.
