Baghdad Municipality announced a plan to establish a factory for recycling used batteries and updating them according to international standards, aiming to provide raw materials and produce new batteries from old ones. Additionally, the municipality is planning to set up a factory for manufacturing and injecting aluminum to produce rain brackets and sewer cover lids, to meet local needs currently purchased from the market. The plans also include benefiting from the experiences of Gaziantep, Tehran, and Mashhad municipalities, providing high-quality products, and reducing dependence on the local market.
