Israeli jets fly near Iran

The Axios website reported that dozens of Israeli fighter jets flew near the Iranian border, heading toward Syria and Iraq, on a mission considered to be a training exercise to deter Iran from attacking Israel. Tel Aviv informed Washington that the objective was to showcase strength, with expectations that Iranian air defense systems would target the aircraft, thereby providing a pretext for future military operations against Tehran. Sources confirmed that the Israeli Chief of Staff will not allow an unjustified military action that could interfere with the Israeli elections. Neither Iran nor Israel released any official statements regarding the sortie.
