Saudi airports face attack threats from Iraq
Reports reveal that Saudi air defenses intercepted and announced the downing of at least four drones launched from Iraqi territory in recent weeks toward vital facilities and airports in Saudi Arabia, despite the absence of an official Iraqi statement so far. Attempts at targeting continue, even though the Iraqi government has pledged to prevent its territory from being used to carry out attacks on Saudi Arabia and neighboring countries. However, Saudi sources indicate that Iraqi measures have not stopped these attempts. These attacks occur amid a regional military escalation, with increasing Houthi assaults inside Saudi Arabia. The origin of the drones remains unidentified, and the network has not provided technical evidence or a clear picture of the flight paths or launch sites. Tensions between Riyadh and Baghdad over the issue continue to persist.
