Economy Minister Basat Visits Sidon Port

Economy Minister Amer Basat arrived at the Sidon port at the beginning of his visit to the city, amid security and military movements focused on strengthening the economic and developmental situation in the area. The visit comes amidst escalating US-Iranian tensions and regional conflicts involving the Gulf and Syria, with Israeli occupation supporting the deployment of its forces and fortifying its positions in preparation for winter. The region has also seen explosions and injuries, while surveillance drones fly overhead in Lebanon’s skies, and tensions continue between regional and international parties.
