Patriarchate Urges Participation in St. Hovhannes Canonization

The Maronite Patriarchate’s local authorities invite the faithful to participate in the beatification Mass of Patriarch Elias Howayek, which will be held on Saturday, July 25, at the Patriarchal square in Deir el Qamar. This event is considered a historic occasion symbolizing hope and holiness in Lebanon. Churches across Lebanon are also asked to ring their bells simultaneously with the start of the Mass to express the Church’s joy and prayers for peace and goodness in the homeland. Additionally, the faithful are called to unite in prayer for the intercession of the Venerable, and to seek God's blessing for Lebanon, families, and the Church.
