Syria halts Lebanon drug smuggling

The Drug Enforcement Administration succeeded in thwarting an attempt to smuggle a shipment of drugs coming from Lebanon to Syria in the Al-Nabek area in the Rif Damascus countryside. A person was arrested, and 850,000 narcotic pills were seized. The entire shipment has been confiscated, and investigations are ongoing to identify its partners and other involved individuals.
