Health Minister opens new emergency in Tripoli

Lebanese Minister of Health Dr. Rakan Nasseruddin inaugurated the new Emergency Department and Primary Healthcare Center at Tripoli Government Hospital, with the aim of improving the level of medical services in North Lebanon and increasing the hospital’s readiness. He pointed out that the project, which was funded with two million dollars by the World Bank and the Islamic Bank, seeks to enhance access to treatment in the region and ensure the sustainability of healthcare services. He emphasized that the Ministry of Health will continue to support the sector and develop the budget to guarantee citizens’ rights to healthcare, especially the most vulnerable groups. This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to strengthen the healthcare infrastructure and improve patient services despite Lebanon’s challenging circumstances.
