Customs prolong import deadlines for vehicles and yachts

The Lebanese General Directorate of Customs has extended the temporary importation period for vehicles and yachts imported temporarily into Lebanon for tourism purposes until August 31, 2026. The extension applies to vehicles entered under temporary entry data, international transit books, or temporary import licenses, and also includes deadlines granted for settling temporary importation status and re-exporting. This measure is part of efforts to ease the burdens on owners of these vehicles and to facilitate tourism procedures, excluding items whose permits expired before April 2026.
