Iran states it hit US fighters in Jordan

Iran launched a ballistic missile attack on the Muwafaq Al-Soltan Base in Jordan, claiming to have destroyed three American F-35 fighters and caused damage to three others, in addition to killing a number of American soldiers and technicians. Jordanian forces also tracked and shot down two American drones, while the United States responded with strikes inside Iran targeting Revolutionary Guard sites, in an escalation aimed at retaliating for the recent attacks. Saudi Arabia called on Iran to halt its attacks in the region to preserve stability, amid escalating tensions between the two sides.
