UN reports Lebanon displacement figures

The United Nations reported that more than 800,000 Lebanese have returned to their areas after fleeing the violence resulting from the war between Hezbollah and Israel, as the fighting in southern Lebanon has decreased. As of July 30, 821,077 people had returned, while over 360,000 internally displaced persons remain, including approximately 26,000 in government shelters. Additionally, the water and electricity infrastructure has been heavily damaged, affecting access to water for more than 700,000 people in the region, which experienced the largest displacement movement during the war.
