Aoun Calls for Support from World Bank

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun received Dalia Khalifa, the Regional Director of the World Bank for the Middle East region. She expressed her interest in addressing Lebanon's urgent needs, especially following the return of over 600,000 citizens to their hometowns after widespread damage affected several towns and villages. The World Bank committed to continuing its support for Lebanon in line with its priorities, in coordination with the Lebanese government, to help the country deal with its current economic and humanitarian challenges.
