President Aoun Meets World Bank Official for Lebanon Support
President Joseph Aoun received Dalia Khalifeh, the Regional Director for the World Bank in the Middle East, who reiterated the bank's commitment to supporting Lebanon and responding to its needs during this current phase. President Aoun explained that Lebanon is in urgent need of both financial and moral support to address the repercussions of more than 600,000 citizens returning to their regions, as well as the widespread damage inflicted on towns and villages, including many areas nearly entirely affected.
