Sports media pays tribute to Antoun Najm

Antoine Sleiman Najem, Secretary-General of the Lebanese Sports Journalists Association, passed away at the age of 57 due to heart problems. He was one of the most prominent sports journalists in Lebanon, beginning his journalism career in the 1990s, working with several newspapers including Al-Diyar, An-Naba’, and An-Nahar. He held the position of Secretary-General of the association since its founding. He also represented Lebanon at international media conferences and closely followed the development of Lebanese sports, especially volleyball. He will be buried at Our Lady of Consolation Church in Harra Sachr, with condolences accepted on the days of the funeral and over the weekend.
