UNIFIL reports rise in Israeli activity in south Lebanon

UNIFIL forces announced that Israeli military activity in southern Lebanon has increased significantly over the past two weeks, with an average of 137 shells per day between August 5 and 16. During this period, there were 208 days on which more than this average number of shells were fired.
