Al-Ashghal advances road repairs

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Works and Transport has committed to continuing the rehabilitation and paving of several roads across various regions of Lebanon, aimed at addressing accumulated damages and improving the road network and traffic safety. Rehabilitation work has been completed on the Mifouq – President Michel Suleiman complex roads, as well as on Bheidat in Jbeil and Madjdelia in Zgharta, with a focus on equipping the damaged sections with asphalt layers according to technical standards. Currently, work includes rehabilitating roads in Ain Anoub, Ainab, Bedghanan, Beira, and Al-Mansouriyah, along with restoring retaining walls in Bkefa, while providing alternative routes to facilitate traffic flow during construction. The ministry affirms that these efforts aim to enhance connectivity between regions and improve traffic safety, with ongoing road rehabilitation prioritized based on field needs and urgent requirements.
