The Lebanese Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the International Primary Relief Organization and UNICEF, has launched the enhanced digital Phoenix system to improve primary healthcare. The system allows citizens to book appointments, access information about medications, and securely manage their health records. It operates offline to facilitate access, especially in areas with weak network coverage. This initiative is part of the digital transformation the ministry aims to achieve to enhance the sustainability and quality of healthcare services, with a focus on equitable access and cost reduction. To date, more than one million services have been provided both within Lebanon and abroad. The Minister of Health also emphasized the importance of technology in building a more resilient health system and in delivering services based on accurate data.
